Responsibilities

Support the development of automated test equipment and manufacturing test planning

Prepare test procedures from engineering and conduct detailed failure analysis

Evaluate electrical test results and develop root‑cause and corrective/preventive actions

Utilize statistical data analysis for trend analysis and troubleshoot test anomalies

Interpret engineering data and support electro‑mechanical integration

Required

Degree from an accredited college in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or related technical discipline at the Bachelor's level and 5+ years production test experience or 3+ years production test experience with a related Master's degree; Or 9 years of related professional experience

Experience reading and interpreting complex engineering drawings, specifications and schematics

Experience conducting detailed failure analysis to determine root cause and implement the corrective / preventative actions

Must be a U.S. Citizen with the ability to obtain a U.S. DoD Secret Security Clearance

Ability to pass a Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (“ATF”) background check to obtain approval to be an “employee possessor” (of explosives or other ATF-regulated items) as defined by ATF regulations

Preferred

Active DoD Secret Clearance

Knowledge / experience with (1) electronic circuits, (2) automated test software, (3) manufacturing test in a production environment, (4) the ability to interpret engineering requirements, (5) evaluating electrical test results, (6) conducting detailed failure analysis, (7) developing and implementing root cause and corrective / preventative actions and (8) utilizing statistical data analysis for trend analysis

Previous experience working with Radio Frequency (RF) equipment and RF testing methodologies

Previous experience with programming languages C, C#, C++, Visual C or Visual Basic, and National Instrument Lab-Windows CVI, Test-Stand and NI Lab-View software

Strong hands-on assembly / disassembly / troubleshooting skills of mechanical, electrical, industrial and/or home equipment and products

Familiarity with manufacturing software DELMIA Apriso Manufacturing Execution System (MES) and Systems Applications & Products (SAP) Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) tools in a manufacturing environment
