Responsibilities

Facilitating and maintaining the PM program (routine) for the maintenance department
Planning, scheduling, and coordinating of non-routine work and repairs and
Configuring new and maintaining existing operations, equipment and processes

Required

High school diploma or its equivalent
3 years of experience in an industrial maintenance environment
Knowledge of Publix's part procurement practices
Strong knowledge of maintenance practices and the ability to troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatics for all equipment and systems
Ability to solve problems and troubleshoot
Ability to multi-task and demonstrate time management skills (plan, organize and follow-through on tasks)
Project management skills and the ability to manage projects using time and resource management
Ability to teach others how to use manuals, blueprints, and schematics
Ability to analyze information and data
Interpersonal skills
Ability to communicate both verbally and in written format
Ability to work independently and be a self-starter
Basic knowledge of Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Microsoft Project
Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Excel
Strong knowledge of computerized maintenance management systems (SAP)
Knowledge of power and electrical systems and controls
Knowledge of manufacturing plant or distribution warehousing facilities
Knowledge of safety pertaining to construction and maintenance
Knowledge of food safety practices and regulations if working in a food manufacturing facility

Preferred

Knowledge of computer electronics, ladder logic, and electrical control systems, including programmable logic control systems. This also includes knowledge of electrical power distribution systems and high voltage equipment
