NetSuite is looking for a Sr Principal Electrical Engineer specializing in Power Generation. The role involves owning the power and energy architecture for hyperscale AI data centers and serving as a technical authority for large-scale power systems.

Responsibilities
Own the end-to-end power and energy architecture and strategy for hyperscale AI data centers, spanning utility interconnection, on-site generation, battery energy storage systems (BESS), resiliency, and the long-term technology roadmap
Serve as the technical authority and executive advisor for multi-hundred-megawatt to gigawatt-scale power systems supporting AI infrastructure
Translate rapidly evolving compute requirements into executable, cost-optimized, and resilient power strategies while driving standardization, capital efficiency, and risk reduction across a global portfolio
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in electrical, power, or a related engineering discipline
15+ years of experience in HV power systems, on-site generation, and power plant engineering
15+ years of experience designing and delivering mission-critical facilities
8+ years of experience in transient analysis for grid-connected generation and microgrids
Proven track record with large-scale electrical infrastructure
Preferred
Experience with utility interconnection strategy, permitting, and coordination with authorities having jurisdiction (AHJs)
Master's or PhD in engineering, business, or a related field
Professional Engineer (PE) license
