Responsibilities

Participating in engagements requiring tax analysis for a variety of entities and their affiliates

Research and analysis of a wide range of tax issues encountered on our projects while working closely with both our engagement teams and our Partners, Principals and Managing Directors

Day-to-day participation of projects through the delivery of tax consulting services to the client

Supervising assignments by the professional accountants serving as Tax Consultants and Interns

Mentor and develop Tax Consultants and Interns by providing leadership, counseling, and career guidance

Required

Ability to perform job responsibilities within a hybrid work model that requires US Tax professionals to co-locate in person 2-3 days per week

Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or other business-related field

3+ years' experience in federal tax consulting

Ability to travel up to 25%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve

One of the following active accreditations obtained, in process, or willing able to obtain: Licensed CPA in state of practice/primary office if eligible to sit for the CPA, If not CPA eligible: Licensed attorney, Enrolled Agent, Certifications: Project Management Professional (PMP), Charged Financial Advisor (CFA)

Preferred

Advanced degree such as MST, MAcc, JD or LLM

Demonstrated sound judgment and instincts in evaluating complex scenarios

Demonstrated effective research, and verbal and written communication skills

Aptitude in MS Project, Word, Excel, and Visio

Previous Big 4 experience

Previous tax consulting experience
