Business Operations and Events Coordinator
Umbraco is a SaaS Content Management platform trusted by developers, partners, and brands around the world. They are seeking a US Sales & Events Coordinator to drive marketing initiatives, support sales activities, and strengthen partner collaborations through various events.
Responsibilities
Plan, coordinate, and execute co-marketing events and activities with partners, ensuring strong joint execution and clear ROI
Plan, coordinate, and execute Umbraco’s presence at industry events (e.g., conferences, trade shows, partner summits)
Coordinate and drive local Umbraco events (e.g., meetups, customer gatherings, community activations) to strengthen engagement and awareness in the US market
Identify and evaluate new opportunities for Umbraco to build awareness and engagement in the US and globally—including events, partnerships, sponsorships, and other collaborative marketing initiatives
Collaborate with partners to identify joint sales and marketing opportunities that support business growth
Manage event logistics, vendor coordination, booth management, lead capture, and post-event follow-up
Provide administrative support to the US sales team, including CRM updates, coordination of partner activities, and tracking of leads and opportunities
Assist with the preparation of sales materials, presentations, and reporting
Support internal communication and alignment with the sales events team
Coordinate travel for the US team to internal and external events
Make sure the Office space is supplied with everything needed for day-to-day operations
Qualification
Required
2–3 years of experience in event coordination or sales support, preferably in the software or tech industry
Proven ability to plan, organize, and execute marketing and event activities with strong attention to detail
Excellent communication and relationship-building skills with both internal teams and external partners
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a structured way
Comfortable working cross-functionally with sales, marketing, and partners
Proficient in tools such as project management platforms (E.g. Airtable) and Google Workspace (Sheets, Google docs, Slides)
Self-starter with a proactive mindset and strong sense of ownership
Preferred
Experience with partner marketing or channel programs
Familiarity with event technology and lead capture solutions
Exposure to international collaboration within a global organization
A network of proven suppliers in the event industry. (E.g. suppliers for print of event supplies such as roll-up banners, sales material, branded hand outs at booths)
