INTEGRIS Health is seeking an Acute Care Nurse Practitioner Intern to join their ECMO team at INTEGRIS Baptist Medical Center. This position involves providing comprehensive care in a CVICU and/or Transplant ICU setting, managing critically ill patients, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to deliver exceptional patient care.

Responsibilities

Provides comprehensive care in a CVICU and/or Transplant ICU setting, including assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and ongoing management of critically ill patients
Manages patient care through daily rounds, formulating care plans, placing orders, adjusting treatment plans, and performing various procedures
Work closely with heart failure, CT surgery, vascular surgery, and transplant specialists in managing complex patient populations
Manages a diverse range of conditions, including heart failure, cardiothoracic and vascular surgery, MCS devices (VAD, Impella, IABP, VV and/or VA ECMO), and transplant patients (heart, lung, kidney, liver, pancreas)

Required

Master's Degree
AGACNP student currently enrolled or newly graduated
Experience in critically ill patient care
Ability to collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of physicians, nurses, and other healthcare providers
Experience in managing patient care through daily rounds, formulating care plans, placing orders, adjusting treatment plans, and performing various procedures
Knowledge of heart failure, CT surgery, vascular surgery, and transplant specialists
Ability to manage a diverse range of conditions, including heart failure, cardiothoracic and vascular surgery, MCS devices (VAD, Impella, IABP, VV and/or VA ECMO), and transplant patients (heart, lung, kidney, liver, pancreas)
Adherence to National Patient Safety Goals
