Qualification
Required
8+ years of experience in Data Engineering, Analytics, or Financial Systems. Fintech or SaaS experience is a must, specifically dealing with complex 'multi-hop' payment flows (e.g., Ledgering, Sub-ledgers, and flow-of-funds)
Bachelor's or Master's degree in a quantitative field (e.g., Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics) or equivalent technical experience
Mastery of SQL and Python is non-negotiable. Deep expertise in modern data stack tools like dbt, Snowflake/BigQuery, and Airflow to set the technical bar for the team
Proven ability to design data models that reflect GAAP accounting principles, automated bank reconciliations, and regulatory reporting requirements
Demonstrated success in building a data function from the ground up, moving from reactive to a proactive, multi-quarter strategic roadmap
The ability to 'speak three languages': Technical (Engineering), Financial (Accounting/Compliance), and Strategic (Product Leaders)
A relentless focus on data integrity. You understand that in payments data, a 99% accuracy rate is a failure—it must be 100%
