Retirement Consolidation Specialist I (Fully FINRA Licensed) (Work from Home)

Responsibilities
Collaborate with channel partners and act on referrals from the Customer Care Center regarding participants with consolidation and planning needs
Gather information through best interest interviews to understanding the participant’s situation and determine the best consolidation approach
Proactively reach out to new participants to Transamerica Employer plans. Educate on consolidation options and provide specialized assistance with plan enrollment
Hold retirement planning phone consultations with clients as requested
Partner with Regional Vice Presidents and Client Executives to facilitate the movement of terminated plan assets to Transamerica
Work with relationship managers and fulfillment analysts to initiate product requests
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in a business field or equivalent experience
Experience as a retirement plan specialist or asset consolidation specialist, or two years of relevant financial services experience
FINRA Series 6 or 7
FINRA Series 63 (or obtain within six months of hire)
FINRA Series 65 or 66 (or obtain within six months of hire)
Customer service, interpersonal, and listening skills to communicate with customers and earn trust
Problem-solving and decision-making skills to select and recommend product solutions
Outstanding written/verbal communication and presentation skills
Knowledge of customer relationship management (CRM) such as Salesforce.com, and digital financial advice platforms
Proficiency using MS Office
