Responsibilities
Performs part inspections to determine acceptability of components and/or operations, documents inspections, generates reports, and maintains records of inspections
Generates/organizes final Quality documentation for Customer submittal
Performs receiving inspections, First Article inspections, in-process inspections, and customer inspections, as needed
Maintains Quality documents in appropriate file systems
Maintains gauge calibration program
Interfaces with Customers, Auditors, and Inspectors concerning quality activities
Generates Quality Bulletins and Requests for Deviation when necessary
Initiates Non-Conforming Material Requests and performs liaison with Engineering, Production, Purchasing and/or Project Management as needed
Processes Non-Conformances, Discrepant Materials, & Returned Materials (Warranty), following disposition
Participates in Studies and Problem-Solving activities as needed
Performs other duties as assigned by management
Qualification
Required
High school graduate or equivalent
Requires minimum two years' experience in a manufacturing, weld fabrication, machining and/or inspection environment
Candidate must be well organized, accurate and attentive to detail and have ability to assist and support others
Preferred
Two year technical degree is a plus
CMM training or experience is preferred
Previous experience in a quality and manufacturing environment is desired
