Responsibilities
Contribute to designing and developing AI-powered ERP components (financial management, project tracking, invoice generation) using Java and PostgreSQL
Learn and apply prompt engineering strategies to enhance ERP modules with natural language interfaces
Build and integrate machine learning models for ERP use cases like data classification, predictions, and intelligent automation
Create APIs connecting digital assistant services with core ERP business logic
Test and validate AI-enhanced features including model accuracy, prompt effectiveness, and system integration
Collaborate with cross-functional teams on delivering AI-powered ERP features and participate in code reviews
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Data Science, or related technical field (or currently pursuing)
0-1 years of experience in software development, AI/ML, or related technical roles
Strong academic projects or coursework in AI/ML, programming, or software development
Solid foundation in Java and/or Python with willingness to learn
Solid understanding of SQL and relational databases (PostgreSQL experience a plus)
Experience or strong interest in working with large language models (GPT, Claude, LLaMA) and developing effective prompts
Coursework or project experience with basic machine learning concepts and frameworks
Familiarity with Git, IDEs, and basic software development practices
Eagerness to learn new technologies and frameworks
Strong interest in prompt engineering techniques and conversational AI systems
Understanding of how to craft effective prompts for business contexts
Curiosity about natural language processing and how AI enhances user experiences
Basic awareness of AI ethics and prompt safety considerations
Comfortable with rapid AI tool evolution
Eager to experiment with new AI capabilities for prompt engineering and ERP optimization
Committed to sharing AI-enhanced approaches with the team
Ability to apply prompt engineering to solve real-world ERP business problems
See AI as a productivity multiplier for strategic development decisions, rather than a replacement for human expertise
Preferred
Internship experience in software development or AI/ML preferred but not required
