Responsibilities

Knows and follows all safety policies and procedures. Ensures that co-workers are also following safety rules

Commitment, awareness and involvement pertaining to ISO (policy, standards, procedures, etc.) are requirements of all employees

Performs Pre-Use inspections on all lift trucks prior to first use each shift

Safely operates forklift with all attachments – fork, turn-a-fork, clamp & probe

Handles product with care to avoid damage to material or storage racks

Verifies product packaging and labeling; collaborates with shift supervisor to correct discrepancies

Keeps warehouse organized by moving products to assigned areas or reassigning areas as needed

Coordinates transportation of finished goods, WIP materials, packaging, and supplies between machine centers and warehouse

Assists with wrapping of materials off machines as needed

Implements and sustains 5S within the warehouse

Monitors lift drivers to ensure safety and organization of materials

Utilizes computer systems to track inventory, update material movement logs, and generate basic reports

Operates warehouse management software and Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, Outlook) to support daily operations
