The role involves overseeing full-cycle AP operations, managing a small staff, driving process improvements, and collaborating cross-functionally to ensure accuracy.

Responsibilities

Oversee full-cycle AP operations for multiple locations as a hands-on, working supervisor

Manage and mentor a small staff (currently one direct report)

Drive process improvements and AP automation initiatives

Collaborate cross-functionally, engaging with shop floor teams to resolve issues and ensure accuracy

Demonstrate initiative, strong communication, and problem-solving skills

Required

Supervisory AP/accounting experience in a similar environment

Experience implementing process changes and/or automation

Willingness to be hands-on and proactive in a manufacturing setting

Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounts payable

Strong knowledge of accounts payable processes, including invoice coding, check runs, and ACH transactions

Proven ability to manage and supervise teams effectively

Familiarity with compliance requirements

Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail

Strong communication and organizational skills

Ability to develop and implement process improvements for greater efficiency
