Responsibilities

Use CTMs and AQ models, combined with in situ and remote-sensing data, to understand and forecast tropospheric chemistry and AQ
Demonstrate how in situ and remote-sensing data can improve CTMs and AQ models
Apply data assimilation techniques in CTMs and AQ models
Investigate processes controlling atmospheric concentrations of trace gases and aerosols using various CTMs and AQ models
Utilize regional and global networks of in situ measurements and field campaigns to improve and evaluate AQ model results
Prioritize projects that emphasize the use of satellite and ground-based remote-sensing data

Required

PhD in an Earth Science related field
Experience with running and developing 3D atmospheric CTMs and data assimilation techniques
Strong analytical skills and computer programming ability
