Able to assess quality of own work as well as others and troubleshoot potential problems as necessary

Able to manage contractual obligations as well as unanticipated changes which may occur
Qualification
Required
Qualified by reason of education and/or experience
Knowledge of steel fabricating, estimating, drafting, erection, and scheduling that enables him/her to successfully coordinate all elements of a project
Working knowledge of construction law, product liability, and contract law
Knowledge of the general building construction process
Proven experience in negotiation skills and techniques
Minimum of two (2) years experience in structural steel engineering, design or fabrication position
Comprehensive knowledge of structural steel buildings and bridges
Working knowledge of all applicable codes and specification
Minimum two (2) years experience in estimating

Preferred
Degree in applicable engineering, drafting or detailing field preferred
