Responsibilities

Performs unit support duties including answering and relaying telephone calls, filing and maintaining records, retrieving and delivering supplies, specimens, instruments, test results and so forth

Provides support in light housekeeping, stocking of supplies and patients dietary needs as required

Qualification

CPR certificationCNA certificationPatient care experienceInterpersonal skillsCommunication skills

Required

High School Diploma or GED required

Current CPR certification issued by the American Heart Association

Certificate from an accredited nursing assistant training course (CNA); or minimum six months previous patient care experience or equivalent; or completion of one nursing clinical rotation

Excellent interpersonal skills including teamwork, ability to prioritize, ability to receive and follow through on directions

Proficient communication skills

Attend in depth orientation regarding patient care skills tasks
