Responsibilities

Transitioning from student to novice RN in the In-Patient Acute Care Residency program
Participating in a structured clinical orientation process with weekly objectives
Attending monthly meetings for knowledge building, shared experiences, mentorship, and wellness components
Working closely with a Clinical Education Specialist and Residency Program Coordinator to ensure clinical competency and patient safety

BSN degreeNew York RN LicensureBLS certificationClinical rotations experienceOrganization skillsCommunication skillsThrive in fast-paced environment

Required

New graduate nursing candidates must have a BSN from an accredited nursing program with a graduation date of less than one year ago and cannot have used their license for greater than 6 months
Must have New York RN Licensure by program start date, along with an American Heart Association BLS certification
Commit to the one-year Residency Program
Excellent organization and communication skills and the ability to thrive in a fast paced environment will be essential to your success at HSS
