Responsibilities

Responsible for the strategic and operational leadership of the Heart & Vascular programs across the health system
Ensure operational excellence, high-quality patient care, and the financial health of the service line
Provide oversight of daily operations, including clinical quality, patient experience, safety outcomes, financial performance, and workforce engagement
Collaborate with physician, nursing, and administrative leaders to advance integrated, patient-centered heart and vascular care

Required

A minimum of 4–6 years of progressive leadership experience in healthcare operations, preferably within an academic health system or integrated delivery network
Prior experience at the Director level or higher overseeing multidisciplinary clinical or service line operations
Experience managing cardiovascular or specialty service lines, including oversight of quality, finance, and clinical performance
Master's degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, Nursing, or a related healthcare field
If Master's degree is in a non-healthcare related field then bachelor's degree must be in a healthcare related field
Strong business acumen with demonstrated ability to manage budgets, analyze data, and drive operational results
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively across clinical and administrative teams
Proven strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities in complex, matrixed healthcare environments
Demonstrated leadership presence and credibility with physicians, executives, and staff
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with performance analytics tools or dashboards

Preferred

Experience managing cardiovascular or specialty service lines, including oversight of quality, finance, and clinical performance
