The role involves gathering and clarifying business requirements, coordinating end user training, and translating business needs into technical requirements for the project team.

Responsibilities
Work on AI project team with Application Developers, Testing Analysts, Project Managers and business stakeholders
BA’s gather and clarify business requirements with the business stakeholder to understand the business problem
They must understand the business stakeholder's business processes to identify the value drivers associated with the project and help to understand business impacts
In the Deployment phase of the application, project, or program, BAs are often responsible for coordinating end user training, providing demo’s on capabilities and facilitating training
BAs must have strong communication and business stakeholder engagement skills given their role in explaining and clarifying issues with the business stakeholder and translating business requirements into technical requirements for the project team
Some BAs perform specialized tasks in addition to their core job responsibilities
For example, BAs may consult on tools, systems, services, or application integration; provide input to system design; make decisions for functionality and configuration; configure applications; gauge and measure data quality levels; and/or provide production support and troubleshooting
Qualification
Required
Demonstrates great interpersonal and active listening skills
Strong communicator who can establish mutually beneficial networks and lead discussions
Be an organized individual who has a knack for planning and prioritizing tasks
Awareness of how AI models solve business problems (e.g., recommendation systems, predictive analytics)
Demonstrates skills in solving problems across multiple business groups
Ability to collaborate with both technical teams (AI engineers, data scientists) and business teams (operations, planning, etc.)
Strong communication and collaboration skills
Exposure to topics like data analytics, statistics, machine learning basics, or business analysis
Creative problem-solving mindset and ability to provide alternative recommendations
Ready to handle ambiguous challenges with a growth mindset
Ability to evaluate the feasibility and impact of AI solutions
1-2 years understanding of AI tools and platforms such as copilot and generative AI
Pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree in business administration, data science, computer science, Information Systems or related fields
Ability to document detailed requirements based on collaboration with various business stakeholders
Ability to quickly digest problems and drive solutions across a dynamic stakeholder base
Proficient in Excel
