The Composite Hand Lamination Technician will be responsible for performing composite layup operations to manufacture high-quality composite parts, ensuring proper ply orientation and material consolidation.

Responsibilities
Perform tooling prep operations in preparation for lamination
Prepare and organize composite materials in preparation for lamination
Apply composite materials onto molds or tooling surfaces using techniques like hand layup or automated processes
Ensure proper ply orientation, ply thickness, and material consolidation is achieved
Proficiency in vacuum bagging techniques for composite layup operations
Interpret engineering drawings and specifications
Basic use of computers for documentation and record-keeping purposes
Qualification
Required
High School Diploma or GED Equivalent
Reliable, punctual and have dependable transportation
Able to verbally communicate read and comprehend written and verbal instructions
Basic knowledge of computers for documentation and record-keeping purposes
Knowledge of basic hand tools and inspection equipment
Able to lift assemblies weighing up to 50 lbs aided or unaided
Able to become certified to wear a respirator
Have no known allergies to epoxies or other composites materials
