As a Water Engineering Intern, you will support project teams with data collection and analysis for water, wastewater, and stormwater projects, while assisting in engineering calculations and various tasks related to design and construction projects.

Responsibilities

Support project teams with data collection, analysis, and documentation for our various types of water, wastewater and stormwater projects

Perform engineering calculations to support our projects

Assist staff on a variety of tasks with various study, design and construction projects and/or field assignments

Qualification

Required

Currently enrolled in an Associate's or Bachelor's program pursuing a degree in Environmental, Civil, or Chemical Engineering

Previous experience or coursework in water resources, environmental engineering, renewable energy, waste water management, stormwater, drinking water, or related field or course

Intellectual curiosity and a desire to solve engineering problems

Flexibility, a positive attitude, and open-mindedness

Preferred

Hands-on experience with design software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Revit, or SolidWorks

Hands-on experience with office software like Microsoft Excel, Word or PowerPoint

At least 2 years of completed coursework in a college level academic program

Previous internship experience in engineering, design, or consulting
