The Geospatial Data Analyst will identify candidate locations for camera deployments using geospatial analysis and collaborate across teams to deliver deployment proposals and maintain geospatial datasets.

Responsibilities
Partner with customer success, sales, and operations teams to understand geospatial data needs
Use GIS software and existing site selection methodologies to identify suitable locations for remote camera deployments
Generate customized map layouts, web maps, applications, and data pipelines to support cross-functional activities
Develop and maintain Python-based automation tools in collaboration with data scientists, following software engineering best practices, including code reviews, pull requests, and version control with Git/GitHub
Build and query PostgreSQL/PostGIS databases to support geospatial data workflows
Deliver training and technical support to internal users
Collaborate on special projects as needed
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Geography, Statistics, Math, or a related field
1–2 years of experience in data analysis, geospatial analysis, or similar roles
Strong Python programming skills
Experience with SQL and relational databases, particularly PostgreSQL
Familiarity with Git/GitHub workflows (branching, pull requests, code reviews)
Excellent geospatial skills with experience in ArcGIS/ESRI or equivalent platforms
Strong mathematical background with attention to detail
Proactive, self-motivated, and well-organized
Preferred
Experience with PostGIS or other spatial database extensions
Familiarity with ETL pipeline development
Experience with cloud-based geospatial tools or data warehouses
