This position is designed to expose student interns to all facets of specialty pharmacy practice
Interns will rotate through specialty operations, multiple disease state specific call centers, clinics, and the infusion center
Additionally, there will be opportunities to participate in clinical research projects and develop policies and procedures
Qualification
Required
High School plus Admitted to a College of Pharmacy
Registered with Kentucky Board of Pharmacy as a Pharmacist Intern
May include standing for greater than 5 years at a time and possibly walking several miles per day
May require the ability to reach items above shoulder level
Attention to detail
Knowledge of ambulatory retail pharmacy operations
Ability to prioritize
Preferred
Retail Ambulatory experience preferred
