Responsibilities
Regularly interact with Field Operations to provide financial support, verification of results and reporting
Researching key P&L lines driving variance budget & forecast variance on the Income Statement
Analyzes trends and other relevant information to develop operating assumptions necessary to complete Business Plans, Budgets, Mid-Year Plan and Bi-Monthly Forecasts
Gain a thorough understanding of key business drivers and effective communication of analysis to support the review of Under Performing Stores
Address or escalate Field Operations inquiries as a primary financial liaison to ensure timely, appropriate action / resolution and/or effective interpretation of the financial implications of business activities
Participate in department initiatives to build / implement new tools for forecasting and budgeting
Work with numerous functional departments to build inputs into the forecasts / budgets
Qualification
Required
Education: Bachelors/4 year Degree in Business or Finance
Experience: 2+ years of Extensive knowledge of financial modeling and reporting
Strong proficiency in Excel and financial modeling; experience with ERP (IBM Planning Analytics) and BI tools (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Power BI) preferred
Requires ability to draft correspondence that accompanies requests for information in a clear and concise manner
Requires understanding of mathematical concepts necessary to make growth projections and net present value calculations
Must understand impact/use of multi-spreadsheet linking capabilities and must have ability to quickly learn systems for implementation/development
Analysis skills and the ability to solve problems independently are critical
Highly organized with the ability to adapt timing of tasks to meet the business's needs
Demonstrates the ability to question results and find the correct answer without bias
Preferred
