Founding Business Development Representative (BDR)
Perfect Venue is a company focused on enhancing the revenue potential of local restaurants and venues through innovative event management software. The Founding Business Development Representative (BDR) will be instrumental in driving outbound sales and building a robust BDR function in a fast-paced startup environment.
Responsibilities
Leverage the existing outbound playbook that AEs have been using and take it to the next level by building out a BDR function
Establish a strong BDR playbook by creating targeted lists, optimizing outreach scripts, A/B testing templates, and coordinating with AEs
Work directly with the company CEO, Director of Sales, and BDR Lead to launch the BDR function
Collaborate with marketing, sales, and engineering teams to ensure alignment
Utilize HubSpot to maintain strong contact and company lists
Adapt to the dynamic environment of a fast-growing startup
Qualification
Required
1+ year of outbound sales experience (SDR, BDR, or outside sales rep), ideally to SMBs and/or hospitality
Proven track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets and generating high-quality leads
Experience using AI tools to drive growth
Proficiency with CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot)
Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work independently and as part of a team
Preferred
Experience in hospitality tech sales is definitely a plus!
