Optomi, in partnership with a major US airline, is seeking an Agentic AI Technical Lead Engineer for a 12-month contract-to-hire. The role involves leading the technical delivery of the agent platform layer and collaborating with various teams to align architecture and product vision.

Responsibilities

Shape, define, and lead the technical delivery of the agent platform layer

Partner closely with the Technical Product Manager, architects, and engineering teams to ensure alignment between architecture, product vision, and implementation

Qualification

Required

7+ years of experience in software development or technical leadership roles

Strong understanding of cloud architecture, preferably AWS (EC2, S3, Lambda, Bedrock, SageMaker, etc.)

Proven experience translating complex architecture into executable development plans

Solid understanding of AI/ML concepts, including model lifecycle, orchestration, and data pipelines

Ability to work collaboratively in an Agile environment with cross-functional teams

Excellent communication and problem-solving skills

Experience with agent frameworks (LangGraph, Bedrock Agents, LangChain, etc.)

Familiarity with knowledge graphs, metadata-driven systems, or governance models

Exposure to LLMOps or MLOps principles and best practices

Previous experience in large-scale platform or enterprise AI implementations
