This role focuses on supporting current and future product development for occupant packaging and vehicle layouts, while addressing packaging issues and collaborating with various teams to ensure feasibility.

Responsibilities

Identify interference conditions and feasibility challenges, and develop solutions to address

Leverage kinematic models to generate clearance envelopes for accurate spatial planning

Manage packaging issues by creating, assigning, and tracking, while coordinating regular packaging review meetings with key stakeholders until achieving resolution

Perform benchmarking analysis and maintain a database of dimensional benchmarks

Assist in the development of general layout drawings and master sections

Analyze surfaces, working closely with designers to ensure production feasibility and alignment with vehicle systems

Collaborate across functional teams, including manufacturing, to ensure the feasibility of assembly processes

Present to upper management across the organization

Design and develop BIW designs for minor and major change programs
