Responsibilities
Serve as the primary safety lead for the site, supporting daily operations
Review existing safety practices and align them with established company guidelines
Identify gaps, inconsistencies, or opportunities for improvement and drive corrective actions
Support compliance with OSHA manufacturing regulations and applicable NFPA standards
Work directly with supervisors and hourly teams to reinforce safe behaviors
Provide training, documentation support, and on-the-floor guidance
Act as a trusted safety resource for operations, maintenance, and leadership
Qualification
Required
Hands-on safety experience in a manufacturing environment
Familiarity with OSHA standards applicable to industrial or manufacturing settings
Strong communication skills and the ability to gain buy-in at all levels of the organization
Preferred
Exposure to process safety concepts is a plus, but not required
Background in industries such as food, chemical, agricultural, or similar manufacturing preferred
Formal safety or technical education preferred; equivalent experience will be considered
