The role focuses on providing operational support for Epic Beaker systems, ensuring reliable instrument connectivity and data flow in a high-volume laboratory environment.

Responsibilities
Provide day-to-day production support for Epic Beaker (CP), including troubleshooting and maintenance
Administer and support Data Innovations (DI) middleware, ensuring reliable instrument connectivity and data flow
Support frequent instrument adds, removals, and changes in a high-volume lab environment
Troubleshoot interface, rules, and connectivity issues between lab instruments and Beaker
Partner with local LIS, lab operations, and IT teams to resolve issues and support ongoing needs
Follow ServiceNow-based change control and incident management processes in a large enterprise environment
Support light Beaker build and configuration as needed
Participate in a 24/7 on-call rotation (1 week every 6 weeks)
Qualification
Required
Comfortable working in a fast-paced production setting
Troubleshooting instrument interfaces
Supporting Beaker application workflows
Partnering closely with local LIS and lab teams
Hands-on Epic Beaker application support experience
Strong experience with Data Innovations (DI) middleware and lab instrument interfaces
Experience supporting production systems in a large enterprise or healthcare environment
Familiarity with ServiceNow, ITIL processes, and formal change controls
Preferred
Epic Beaker certification and relevant Data Innovations certifications are highly desirable
Experience supporting multiple lab instruments simultaneously
Background working closely with laboratory operations or LIS teams
Experience in high-change, high-uptime healthcare or diagnostics environments
