Mechanical Engineering Manager – Thermal / Fluids

Responsibilities
Lead a team of thermal fluids analysts to support the design of a complex propulsion system
Driving integration with multiple IPT's and ensuring close collaboration to ensure a sound technical solution
Responsible for the analysis teams; execution, schedule, budget, subcontracts and personnel
Responsible for ensuring that the system can successfully execute the mission
Qualification
Required
Experience as a propulsion, fluids or thermal analyst
Experience with CFD (ANSYS FLUENT)
Experience developing models from the ground up (first principles)
Highly effective communication skills, including ability to explain complex concepts, lead reviews, and negotiate requirements
Ability to operate in a dynamic environment and tackle numerous roles as part of the daily program operations
Willingness to wear multiple hats and do whatever is needed to help your team succeed
Prior experience implementing change initiatives
Understanding and experience with drawing release
Experience with any of the following software: MATLAB / Simulink, Python, Thermal Desktop, ANSYS, Pointwise, Spaceclaim, github, gitlab or Bitbucket
