Postdoctoral Scholar-Anatomy and Neurobiology

The role involves performing various advanced techniques in neuroscience research, including mouse brain surgery and data analysis.

Responsibilities

Performs mouse brain surgery, in vivo Ca2+ imaging of the mouse brain
Performs behavioral testing using mice
Analyze data using statistical tools
Brain clearing and light-sheet imaging
Imaging using confocal microscopes
Gene cloning, cell culture, proteomics
RNA sequencing, flow cytometry
Performs western blotting, immunohistochemistry and immunocytochemistry
Writing manuscripts

Required

Ph.D. in Neuroscience or a related field

Ability to work independently, self-motivated and detail oriented
