Responsibilities

Lead the design and architecture of SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud to meet the business needs of a regulated, quality-focused manufacturing environment

Architect process flows that leverage SAP Best Practices for discrete manufacturing, finance, procurement, and supply chain—tailored to protective gear manufacturing

Drive and facilitate design workshops across Finance, Sales, Procurement, Supply Chain, and Manufacturing

Validate scope and storyboard-based load point estimations with the business and ensure traceability of requirements

Identify deltas between standard SAP and business needs, recommending suitable process adaptations or extensibility options

Ensure cross-stream solution consistency, particularly between Finance, Sales, and Supply Chain, which constitute the core process threads

Guide the team in making design decisions that support seamless integration of R&D inputs and engineering changes into manufacturing

Support decision-making for configuration vs. extensibility, always aiming for minimal deviation from standard

Build strong relationships with business process owners and IT leadership by clearly articulating how the SAP Public Cloud solution will support their goals

Serve as the key solution advisor to the Engagement and Project Manager, helping navigate trade-offs between business requirements and system capabilities

Present options and recommendations in fit-to-standard discussions to gain buy-in and reduce friction

Align closely with offshore functional consultants and technical teams to ensure continuity in solution delivery

Review and validate functional designs and user stories to ensure completeness and accuracy

Coach and mentor junior team members to strengthen internal SAP Public Cloud capability

Begin laying the groundwork for upcoming test cycles, data migration, and cutover planning by aligning on key milestones

Support development of future-state process documentation and configuration rationale in preparation for the Realize phase

Required

Proven experience as an SAP S4 HANA Solution Architect with a focus on Public Cloud implementations

Deep expertise in Finance, Sales, Sourcing & Procurement, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, and R&D Engineering business processes

Strong knowledge of SAP S4 HANA end-to-end business processes, including Record-to-Report, Plan-to-Fulfill, Lead-to-Cash, Source-to-Pay, and Supply Chain Management

Extensive experience in implementing SAP solutions in the Public Cloud environment

Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work with both technical and non-technical stakeholders

Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills, with a keen ability to deliver solutions in a timely and effective manner

Ability to work in a fast-paced, client-facing environment

Preferred

SAP S4 HANA certification (or related certifications) is a plus

Experience with other SAP modules or related technologies

Previous experience in a consulting environment or with large-scale transformation projects is desirable
