Responsibilities

You will be performing interchange/highway design, roadway widening, roundabout/superstreet design, and low-impact bridge replacement, and producing construction bid plans and documents, writing roadway design reports, preparing construction cost estimates & design specifications, as well as coordinating with our clients

You will have the opportunity to provide technical guidance and training to more junior staff as well as review the work of more junior staff

Required

Bachelor's degree in Civil, Transportation, or Structural Engineering or related discipline

3 years of related experience

Domestic and/or international travel may be required

Preferred

EIT with the desire to achieve PE within 2 years

Familiarity with TDOT roadway design

Municipal roadway design is a plus

Strong preference for candidates with OpenRoads experience

Microstation and Corridor Modeling experience

Experience with the development of construction bid documents for TDOT and/or municipalities

Technical writing experience, including project special provisions, design reports, functional design reports, and technical memorandums
