Responsibilities

You'll be collaborating with multi-disciplinary teams of scientists, engineers, and consultants, understanding the requirements and incorporating those requirements into your work

You'll be providing technical 2D drafting and 3D modeling and design analysis support on a wide variety of projects collaborating with colleagues in offices around the world

Preparing existing condition models based on a variety of sources including topographic surveys, aerial drone surveys, and satellite imagery

Preparing technical figures for reports and engineering drawings for conceptual, tender, and construction packages

You'll be managing your own workload commitments by following an established workflow and data management process

Responsible for quality assurance and control with adherence to global company standards, processes, and best practices

Continuous knowledge sharing, training, and mentoring to develop your skills and develop your career

Active participant in a global technical community of like-minded practitioners

Qualification

Required

Technician or Technology Diploma or Degree or equivalent preferably in the disciplines of Environmental, Geotechnical, Mining and/or Civil Engineering

Must have experience with AutoDesk Civil 3D and working in consulting companies

Minimum 3-5 years of demonstrated experience in CAD Drafting and Design using AutoDesk Civil 3D

Experience with drafting and design support principles, practices, process, methods and techniques

Detail-oriented with a strong commitment to following a prescribed set of global company standards, processes, and best practices

Willingness to learn and the desire to excel and thrive in an engaging, collaborative environment

You're well organized and know how to prioritize multiple deliverables while demonstrating a flexible approach to competing deadlines

You have excellent problem-solving skills and can identify alternative solutions to challenges

You have excellent oral/written communication skills using the English language

Provide technical support, mentoring and guidance to Junior CAD Technicians

Ability to work independently and as part of a team
