Responsibilities
Oversee TPAs in claims management and litigation processes
Track and manage caseloads, correspondence, and case notes using spreadsheets and SharePoint
Analyze TPA data to identify potential litigation and coordinate with legal staff
Present large-loss reports (cases over $500K) to internal and external stakeholders
Assign cases to defense/coverage counsel and manage toward resolution
Ensure adherence to litigation guidelines, claims handling best practices, and regulatory requirements
Participate in case planning discussions with claim staff, TPAs, and defense counsel
Approve reserves and settlement requests within delegated authority
Track legal expenses and manage all litigated claims to resolution
Qualification
Required
7+ years of experience in commercial auto and private passenger claims and litigation
Strong experience with coverage analysis and property casualty claims
Strong litigation management and liability/damages analysis skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt to changing workloads
Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities
Proficient in Microsoft Office and claims management systems
Preferred
Bachelor's degree preferred; insurance designations (CPCU, etc.) or relevant experience considered
Experience handling commercial claims involving trucking and leases preferred
Knowledge of residual market auto insurance rules and regulations preferred
