Business Systems Analyst, Clinical - IT
Hawai'i Pacific Health is a not-for-profit health care network with over 70 locations statewide. They are seeking a Business Systems Analyst to provide application support, act as a liaison between the Clinical community and the IS Department, and manage changes to specifications for various systems applications.

Responsibilities
Provides application support to user Departments
Acts as the key liaison between the Clinical community, vendors, and the IS Department
Responsible for Tier 2 support of applications
Translates customers’ high-level requirements into functional specifications for the IS Department and manages changes to such specifications
Uses a variety of platforms to provide automated systems applications to customers
Responsible for gathering, compiling, and synthesizing information with regard to technology processes and/or systems
Codes, defines criteria, performs testing, debugging, documents, and maintains programs
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, Health Care or related field and/or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience
One (1) year of experience in functional analysis, system design and/or business applications
Preferred
Two (2) years of health care experience and working with clinical users to determine their needs and manage the changes to those specifications, including troubleshooting systems issues and modifying applications
Experience in supporting information systems
Experience in analyzing workflow and implementing changes in workflow
