Senior Lead Environmental Scientist
WSP is a leading engineering and professional services firm in the U.S., and they are seeking a Senior Lead Environmental Scientist to support their Connecticut operations. The role involves preparing environmental work plans, managing projects, and mentoring junior staff while ensuring client objectives are met.

Responsibilities
Prepare environmental work plans and manage projects through completion, on time and budget
Manage existing clients and develop new business
Supervise, mentor and train junior staff
Data analysis and interpretation to determine the next course of action
Qualification
Required
B.S. or M.S. degree in geology, hydrogeology or environmental engineering
CTDEEP Licensed Environmental Professional
Minimum 10 years experience working as a Connecticut environmental consultant with strong understanding of CTDEEP RSRs, RCRA and TSCA
Preferred
Master's Degree is preferred
Essential professional licensure/certification
40-Hour OSHA Health & Safety Training (HAZWOPER) (29 CFR 1910.120) preferred
Water supply development and permitting experience are not required, but a plus
Proficiency with ESRI's ArcGIS software is a plus
