Principal Production Service Systems Administrator

Responsibilities
Deploy, configure, and manage SaaS applications in cloud environments
Creating and implementing system enhancements that will improve the performance and reliability of the system
Issue Diagnosis and analysis
Develop and implement monitoring tools and processes to ensure high availability and performance of applications
Automate regular and repetitive tasks using Python and industry-standard frameworks
Manage installation processes, perform upgrades, and support lifecycle management for cloud-based applications
Collaborate closely with development and operations teams for continuous process improvement
Administer and troubleshoot databases, primarily Oracle in a production environment
Use and maintain Kubernetes clusters for application deployment and scaling
Utilize version control and CI/CD pipelines using GitHub
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
US citizen
Experience deploying and operating SaaS solutions on cloud infrastructure
Solid understanding of automation principles and hands-on experience with Python scripting
Experience with Kubernetes for orchestration and container management
Practical knowledge of Oracle database 19c + administration. Certification is preferred
Familiarity with GitHub for source control and collaboration
Experience with cloud labs or similar environments for rapid prototyping and testing
Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Preferred
Experience with other cloud platforms (e.g., OCI, AWS, Azure, GCP)
Exposure to infrastructure-as-code tools (Terraform, Ansible, etc.)
Previous experience in a fast-paced SaaS environment

Paid time off: Flexible Vacation is provided to all eligible employees assigned to a salaried (non-overtime eligible) position. Accrued Vacation is provided to all other employees eligible for vacation benefits. For employees working at least 35 hours per week, the vacation accrual rate is 13 days annually for the first three years of employment and 18 days annually for subsequent years of employment.
