Law Practice
Responsibilities
Review, analyze, and organize complex client documentation, including correspondence, notices, applications, notes, guaranties, and related materials
Draft litigation documents such as complaints, answers, routine notices, affidavits, motions, and trial- and appellate-level filings
Support attorneys with pre-judgment and post-judgment recovery efforts, including tracking damages, interest calculations, costs, and payments
Conduct legal research and assist with case strategy development
Prepare cases for motions, hearings, conferences, and trial
Review, outline, index, and summarize depositions and large document sets
Utilize litigation software and computerized litigation tools to manage case materials efficiently
Accurately bill time daily in accordance with firm expectations
Qualification
Required
Advanced knowledge of legal principles, terminology, and procedures, typically acquired through formal paralegal training or certification
10+ years of experience supporting complex commercial litigation matters
Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple deadlines simultaneously
Exceptional attention to detail and proofreading accuracy
Strong written and verbal communication skills, including effective interaction with attorneys, clients, and staff
High level of professionalism and discretion when handling confidential matters
