Emerging Technologies Project Manager
General Atomics Aeronautical Systems, Inc. (GA-ASI) is a world leader in remotely piloted aircraft and tactical reconnaissance radars. The Project Manager will coordinate across various functional teams to define and sustain critical enterprise computer system networks, ensuring project schedules and budgets are met while overseeing operational aspects and liaising with stakeholders.

Responsibilities
Create project plan and manage resources to ensure project schedule, budget, quality, and specific goals are attained
Collaborate with management and project teams
Oversee and monitor project schedule, timelines, and milestones from initiation to delivery to meet delivery goals
Manage the coordination of departmental and/or cross-functional teams to assign and prioritize tasks focused on delivering new or upgrading existing products and/or services
Interpret company-wide policies and procedures as they relate to the project
Develop and deliver progress reports
Develop presentation to internal and external audiences as needed
Provide leadership, direction and guidance to employees working on assigned project
Effectively communicate project expectations and objectives to team members and stakeholders in a timely fashion
Analyze the current infrastructure and develop requirements and processes for improvement
Continually reviews status of the projects and budgets to ensure projects are completed within budget
Interpret and administer policies and procedures that impact project(s)
Participate in, lead segments of or provide overall management for the request for proposal (RFP) process to generate new business
Maintain the strict confidentiality of sensitive information
Responsible for ensuring all laws, regulations and other applicable obligations are observed wherever and whenever business is conducted on behalf of the Company
Responsible for ensuring work is accomplished in a safe manner in accordance with established operating procedures and practices

Qualification
Required
Typically requires a bachelors degree or masters in a technical discipline from an accredited institution and progressive engineering experience as follows; fifteen or more years of experience with a bachelors degree, thirteen or more years of experience with a masters degree, or ten or more years with a PhD. May substitute equivalent engineering experience in lieu of education
Demonstrates detailed and extensive technical expertise and application of computer systems/networking principles, concepts, theory, and practice with the ability to organize, plan, schedule, conduct, and coordinate workloads to meet established deadlines or milestones
Working knowledge of routing protocols, network address assignments and routing configurations
Must possess the ability to understand new concepts quickly and apply them accurately throughout an evolving environment; strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills to effectively interface with other departments, customers, government representatives, and/or professionals
Ability to initiate, plan, and manage projects
Ability to identify issues, analyze, and interpret data, and develop solutions to a variety of non-routine issues of diverse scope and nature
Ability to work independently and lead in a team environment
Must be customer focused and able to work on a self-initiated basis or in a team environment and able to work extended hours and travel as required
Excellent documentation and communication skill
Experienced IT administrator with LAN/WAN technologies
Ability to obtain and maintain Special Access Program (SAP) access
Prior experience as a Systems Administrator, ISSO, ISSM or related DoD Cyber Workforce Role
Preferred
Microsoft / CISCO certifications or DIACAP training a plus
Red Hat Certified System Administrator (required for IA Cert Level I)
MCSE certification and/or other network related training
Information Assurance (IA) Certification Level I
A+ Certification
Knowledge of SunOS and Java desired
Experience in virtual imaging /system deployment / disc imaging a plus
Ability to obtain and maintain DoD security clearance is required
