The Strategic Finance Associate will engage in transaction modeling, financial analyses, and support various financial initiatives to optimize capital and achieve company goals.

Financial Services

Responsibilities

Support production of weekly/monthly management reporting & financial analyses
Analyze and communicate core earnings drivers, funding/liquidity considerations, growth expectations
Support execution of ad-hoc requests and projects; build financial models and management presentations
Assist forecasting and modeling processes on new business initiatives
Track/monitor various income streams to drive value-add analyses
Proactively partner across finance and technology to drive innovation in reporting, forecasting, budgeting processes
Support initiatives to improve efficiencies and implement proper controls

Required

Qualified candidates with a BA/BS degree with a focus in Finance, Economics, Business Management, or related fields required
Excellent academic record with ability to multi-task and work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamically changing environment
Ability to prepare and deliver reports to various stakeholders
Strong critical thinking skills
Exemplifies high standards with regards to ethics and integrity
Candidate must be self-motivated and willing to work in a team environment
Outstanding verbal and written communication skills and presentation

Preferred

2-4 years of experience in strategic finance, FP&A or consultancy preferred; experience in accounting and finance functions or relevant education
Strong understanding of banking and/or asset management highly preferred
Experience with SQL and Python a plus
