The Controller will be responsible for leading the accounting function, developing the team, and modernizing processes while closely collaborating with the CFO and ownership during a phase of significant growth.

Responsibilities
Lead and develop the accounting team (AP, AR, Billing, Collections, Payroll, Senior Accountant)
Own month-end and year-end close, GL, reconciliations, external audit, and reporting
Build and formalize internal controls and GAAP-compliant processes
Oversee tax coordination with external advisors (sales, payroll, income taxes)
Drive process improvement, automation, and systems scalability
Oversee, assist in selecting, and be an integral part in an ERP Implementation
Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis
Partner closely with the CFO and ownership during a high-growth phase
Qualification
Required
12–15+ years progressive accounting experience
Prior Controller or Assistant Controller experience
Preferred
CPA strongly preferred
ERP Implementation experience a plus
Construction or project-based experience highly preferred
