Responsibilities

Litigate lawsuits involving a broad range of employment-related claims and agency charges of discrimination

Represent employers in court, before administrative agencies, at mediations, and in arbitration in employment matters, including discrimination, harassment, retaliation, contract, and employment tort cases

Advise employers regarding compliance with employment laws and related risk management, including dispute resolution programs

Qualification

JD from accredited law school6+ years employment law experienceCurrent VA bar admissionUnderstanding agency proceduresMultitaskWritten communicationOral communicationAttention to detailOrganizational skillsTime management skillsProject management skills

Required

JD from accredited law school, with excellent academic credentials

Current VA bar admission or ability to obtain admission

Strong organizational, time management, and project management skills

Preferred

6+ years of experience, employment law background strongly preferred
