Supply Chain Administrator
Emerson is a global leader in automation technology and software, and they are seeking a detail-oriented Supply Chain Administrator to support their supply chain operations. The role involves purchasing, production scheduling, and inventory management to ensure smooth manufacturing workflows.
Responsibilities
Using MAX Order Navigator to create daily shop order releases and distribute to the production floor
Completes daily review of sales orders to ensure that all dates were changed and are in line with raw material availability and production resources
Prepare and electronically distribute shop order packages daily to production
Prepare and send MRB reports (non-confirming material) to suppliers. Work with the quality team to have the material returned or disposed of
Confirm, as needed, all purchase order acknowledgements from suppliers
Review daily open purchase order report to follow-up on any past due orders
Provide support on an as needed basis for all administrative duties as assigned, e.g., spreadsheet updates
Perform back-up duties for the Purchasing Coordinator as needed during their absence
Perform back-up duties for the Production Scheduler as needed during their absence
Daily review of defective material being returned to suppliers
Daily review of sales orders entered by sales the previous day for accurate ship dates based on personnel scheduling and component part availability
Prepare Late Order Report and forward to appropriate management members daily
Review the MAX Order Navigator daily to identify best scheduling practices
Prepare and distribute the daily Production schedule according to the required ship dates, component availability, production personnel available, and the urgency of the customer involved
Prepare and distribute the main product line production demand form in advance of the days following production
Work to maintain daily and/or hourly production and /or materials, or maintenance expectations as directed by management
Assembles parts and components to build various types of products using common hand and power assembly tools working from schematics, samples and verbal instructions
Exercises judgment in fitting, aligning and adjusting components to meet quality specifications
Responsible for recognizing malfunctions or material defects and making adjustments
Responsible for achieving line display board goals each week
Responsible for completing daily 5-S and PM sheets as directed
Performs related duties as assigned or as the situation dictates
Ability to stand or sit for long periods of time
Performs all work in accordance with established safety procedures

Qualification
Required
High School Diploma or equivalent
A minimum of 2 years experience working in a manufacturing environment
Experience with Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Outlook, Word)
Strong written and oral communications skills
Knowledge of Warehouse Management Systems
Forklift operation
Must be a self-starter and able to perform without direct supervision
Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship now and in the future
Fluent in English (reading and writing)
Ability to complete basic math functions (addition/subtraction/multiplication/division)
Basic computer skills
Ability to read and understand production shop orders and instructions
Ability to lift 40 pounds intermittently
Ability to sit and/or stand daily up to 10 hours
Ability to defer to management when appropriate
