Senior Financial Analyst - Global Tech Cloud

Responsibilities

Assist in forecasting consumption to revenue by linking bookings, consumption, and revenue adjustment data to revenue outcomes
Develop and maintain bookings-to-revenue forecast and budget models, adjusting for factors such as support rewards, credit memos, and credit re-bills that impact revenue
Collaborate with global, field finance, and product teams to ensure accurate revenue recognition and alignment with consumption trends
Support the annual budget process by building and maintaining standardized bookings-to-revenue budget models across regions and products
Partner with global and regional finance teams to align budgets with bookings, consumption, and revenue forecasts
Ensure budget models are flexible, scalable, and reflect key business drivers
Contribute to long-term budget planning, assisting in setting financial targets
Perform bookings-to-revenue bridge and variance analysis, providing insights into key revenue drivers and trends
Prepare financial reports and presentations for senior leadership, highlighting risks, opportunities, and performance in revenue adjustments, forecasts, and budgets
Support quarterly and annual financial planning cycles
Partner with process owners and regions to streamline the bookings-to-consumption-to-revenue forecast and budgeting processes, automating workflows to improve accuracy and efficiency
Drive the standardization of bookings, consumption, and revenue forecasting and budgeting processes across regions to ensure consistency in reporting and metrics
Implement process improvements to support centralized reporting, analysis, and budgeting
Act as a liaison between global and field finance teams to ensure effective communication and the delivery of financial insights
Support regional finance teams in business partnering activities by providing data-driven analysis of revenue forecasts and budget performance
Collaborate with the Global Tech Cloud Finance central team on key initiatives, including forecasting, budgeting, and ad-hoc financial analysis

Required

BS/BA in Accounting or Finance preferred, MBA desired
5+ years of experience in finance, financial analysis, or FP&A, preferably within the tech or cloud industry
Strong experience in forecasting, financial modeling, and analysis within a global, matrixed organization
Proficiency in financial tools and systems; experience with MarCo is a plus
Advanced expertise in financial modeling and data analysis
Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and the ability to work under tight deadlines
Proven ability to drive process improvements and implement automation solutions in finance processes
Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work across cross-functional teams
Ability to lead process improvements and adapt to change in a fast-paced environment
Familiarity with matrix organization structures and experience working within global and regional finance teams

Paid time off: Flexible Vacation is provided to all eligible employees assigned to a salaried (non-overtime eligible) position. Accrued Vacation is provided to all other employees eligible for vacation benefits. For employees working at least 35 hours per week, the vacation accrual rate is 13 days annually for the first three years of employment and 18 days annually for subsequent years of employment. Vacation accrual is prorated for employees working between 20 and 34 hours per week. Employees working fewer than 20 hours per week are not eligible for vacation.
