Responsibilities

Communicate complex policies and procedures in a helpful and professional manner to campus investigators and department support staff to address questions regarding existing contracts and grants

Independently review proposals and/or negotiate moderately complex, grants, subgrants, and/or others as assigned

Initiate review of contracts and subcontracts

Develop and participate in assigned special projects and collaborate and support training efforts for junior staff members

Guidance to UCLA faculty and staff in proposal development and award management

Review and authorize the submission of electronic and paper proposals

Negotiate, accept and execute moderately complex contract and grant awards from government and non-profit sponsors

Institutional administration for a portfolio of routine and non-routine research, public service and training of pre-award and non-financial post-award activities supported by government and non-profit entities

Communicate complex policies and procedures in a helpful and professional manner to campus investigators and department support staff
