Responsibilities
Overseeing day-to-day information system security operations
Carrying out technical administration of IS in accordance with internal LM and customer security requirements
Upkeeping, monitoring, analyzing, and responding to network and security events
Documenting compliance actions with the ISSM to address non-compliance in the allotted time frame
Ensuring systems are operated, maintained, and disposed of in accordance with internal security policies and practices

MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position is located at a facility that requires special access
The selected candidate must possess an active Secret clearance to start
Bachelors degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education, with 7 years of professional experience; or 5 years experience required with a related Masters degree
Considered experienced, but still a learner
Preferred
Experience with NISPOM, RMF, DAAPM and JSIG certification and accreditation processes
Experience working with classified information systems
DoD Directive 8570 / 8140 Information Assurance Management Level III
Previous experience working in an SAP / SCI / Collateral environment
Excellent written and verbal communication skills and ability to effectively interface with numerous cognizant security agencies, customers and senior management
Ability to manage multiple projects in a dynamic, demanding environment
Knowledge of other security disciplines and how they impact and interact with information system security
Prior experience as ISSO, or DoD equivalent at an organization of similar size and complexity
Understanding of network concepts and Type 1 encryption devices, such as TACLANE
Understanding of networking concepts and cybersecurity related tools to include, Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIG) and Security Content Automation Protocol (SCAP), and vulnerability scanners
Knowledge of government / contractor network interconnectivity arrangements
Ability to speak in front of large groups of people
