AI Software Engineer

Responsibilities

Successful development, testing, deployment and maintenance of AI-enabled applications, incorporating agile and DevOps methodologies and concepts
Developing user-facing applications that interact with the Microsoft 365 environment
Ability to provide support to users experiencing abnormalities, as well as the ability to analyze user feedback and bug reports to implement fixes
Periodic travel to Lockheed Martin sites may be required, as well as the ability to work in a virtual environment

Experience with AI client frameworks
Familiarity with prompt engineering and LLM integration
Familiarity with MCP (Model Context Protocol)
Experience with prototype development or rapid iterations
Understanding of AI governance and responsible AI practices
Experience authoring documentation
Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) and containerization
Previous exposure to AI application development or chatbot/agent building
Ability to thrive in ambiguity and adapt to the fast-evolving AI landscape
Strong written and verbal communication skills
