Responsibilities
Provide programming and development support to extend and enhance the functionality of the OnBase platform
Analyze business processes to identify opportunities for automating repetitive tasks and scripted job aids
Develop and maintain APIs, integrations and interfaces between multiple enterprise systems
Peer review, test, and validate new or updated programmatic functionality to ensure visual accuracy and functional quality
Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business processes, requirements and rules and translate them into actionable technical solutions or user stories
Research, evaluate and recommend new technologies, tools and approaches to improve efficiency and system capabilities
Work closely with internal teams and external vendor resources to diagnose and resolve technical issues down to the root cause
Implement system enhancements, configuration changes and optimizations within the OnBase environment
Develop, configure and maintain workflow solutions, automation processes and document management features in OnBase
Coordinate departmental change requests from initial business analysis through configuration and implementation
Create training materials and provide documentation to support newly implemented workflows or system enhancements
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or related field or equivalent professional experience
3+ years of experience in OnBase development, configuration and workflow management
Proficiency in OnBase workflow, WorkView, configuration and automation tools
Experience with SQL, .NET/C#, and JavaScript for scripting and development
Experience developing APIs, integrations and system connectors
Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills across OnBase components and integration points
Strong ability to analyze business processes and translate them into automated technical solutions
Experience gathering requirements, documenting system changes and supporting end-users
Ability to create training materials for new workflows and enhancements
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
Strong problem-solving, analytical thinking and attention to detail
Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
Detail-oriented, organized and quality-focused
Preferred
OnBase/Hyland certifications
Experience in industries such as higher education, healthcare, government or other document-driven environments
