Responsibilities

Providing comprehensive client service, administrative, and operational support in the administration of trusts and estates
Managing and administering trust accounts, including reviewing trust documents
Building and maintaining strong relationships with trustees, clients, investment managers, accountants, and other professionals
Ensuring compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and internal policies governing trust administration, including fiduciary responsibilities, and reporting obligations
Monitoring and evaluating trust assets, working closely with trustees and investment advisors
Identifying and mitigating potential risks associated with trust administration, such as legal, tax, or compliance issues, and implementing appropriate risk management strategies
Coordinating and facilitating the settlement of estates and trusts, including the distribution of assets and resolution of any legal or administrative issues that may arise
Preparing and maintaining accurate records of trust transactions, and other relevant documentation
Staying updated on industry trends, changes in laws and regulations, and best practices in trust administration
Initiating trust distributions and processing bill and tax payments via wire, ACH, or check
Preparing, reviewing, and distributing monthly, quarterly, and annual statements, invoices, and billings
Invoicing quarterly trustee fees
Processing Irrevocable Life Insurance Trust insurance premium payments
Issuing Crummey notices
Electronically filing documents, statements, and tax returns
Preparing accountings for both estates and trusts

Preferred

Bachelor's degree
minimum of seven (7) years of relevant experience in trust and estate administration
