Responsibilities

Properly evaluate and interpret engineering models, engineering GD&T intent, and calibration results
Manage daily metrology workflow to drive efficiency and optimal resource utilization
Develop solutions to complex problems which require the regular use of ingenuity and innovative thinking
Perform measurements and data post processing using portable metrology systems such as Oscilloscopes, Power supplies, Multimeters, decade boxes, synchro resolvers, electrical calibrators, and frequency counters
Serve as the main metrology interface between engineering and metrology technicians

Required

Bachelor's degree in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering or Math) and 5 years of experience, or Masters in STEM and 3 years of experience
Experience using metrology equipment (eg Spectrum Analyzer, Signal Conditioner, Calibrators, frequency counters, Multi product calibrator, temperature sensors, etc..)
Experience with Geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T)
Experience interpreting engineering drawings and models
Experience with automated calibration system such as Surecal or Metcal
U.S. Citizenship required
Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance

Preferred

Experience performing metrology evaluations, calibration and data interpretation of RF calibration, Thermal Cycling, TVAC, and Humidity
Experience with Gidep or Mfr manual procedures
Experience with tooling and fixtures
Experience with electrical metrology equipment
Experience with National instruments Interface/Calibration Software
